5/17/2023 0 Comments Teachers lesson planner![]() This spreadsheet pretty much guarantees that we will easily find someone to write to every week. This is great to have handy, because every Friday my kids write letters to practice penmanship and writing skills. But speaking of forgetting birthdays, I have to confess that one of my favorite things to do is to quiz my husband on one of the 5 kids' birthdays (and occasionally, middle names) and watch him squirm, and then listen to him explain that remembering dates has nothing to do with how much he loves them – it's hilarious.Īnyway, in this big birthday section, since we don't have a big class, we will be writing birthdays of friends and family members. Gotta be honest here – I'm not likely to forget my kids' birthdays. Holidays and Dates to Rememberīelow is a very pretty birthday tracking sheet. (Homeschool Moms should DEFINITELY be appreciated during Teacher Appreciation Week!). This isn't only useful to know when school holidays are (we often work through bank holidays), but because I didn't even know who some of the people listed here are. Thanks to Google, I now know that Jan Brett, Eve Bunting, and Marc Brown are children's book authors (probably something I should already recognize) and they are all listed in “Holidays and Dates to Remember.” I have also learned that Teacher Appreciation Week is the first week of May, and I am planning to drop hints accordingly. ![]() Holidays and Dates to Remember is very useful, for obvious reasons, and lists notable birthdays and holidays. Classroom events and volunteers/helpful hints for the Substitute I may even go crazy with the washi and stickers and come up with something different. I don't have any of the above, so I'm going to write in our school schedule for reference and that's about it for that section. BUT! This is still a usable section for homeschool mamas! Field trips can be recorded here, and IF you have a babysitter or family member or hubby who helps with school, the “Substitute” section may be helpful. The only volunteer around here is me, and I WISH for an occasional substitute like I wish for a vacation to Hawaii. This section isn't really one that I would utilize often. The first pages are self-explanatory…”All About Me”: This is the first page, with an “All About Me” sectionīelow you'll see “Classroom Events and Volunteers”, “Special Events & Field Trips”, “Helpful Hints for the Substitute”, and “Students with Special Needs.” Teacher's Lesson Planner Cover – Ready to Ship option allows you to get a customizable cover.
